About Jacob

I am a fully qualified, BABCP-accredited psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience working across NHS, charity and private sector settings.

My Training

My training includes a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, an MSc in Health Psychology, a PGDip in CBT for Anxiety and Depression, and I am currently undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.

How therapy can help your journey

Therapy offers a space to explore difficulties, understand patterns, and develop new ways of responding. CBT is particularly helpful for understanding the links between thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and behaviours.

CBT has a strong evidence base for difficulties such as depression, anxiety and trauma, while my wider approach also considers your lived experience, values and autonomy.

The Impact of Therapy

Therapy can be transformative. Read some of the testimonials that clients have been kind enough to share here.

Before starting therapy

Before therapy begins, we will discuss confidentiality, consent, cancellations and what you can expect from sessions. Please note that my private practice is not a crisis service and I am unable to offer emergency support between sessions.
